Mobility Difficulties
If you have difficulty moving, it is hard to find the right kind of exercise program. But exercising is vital to help you feel strong and healthy and more active.
Mike Alalof has designed exercise programs specifically for your needs. He brings two kinds of knowledge:
- he is an expert fitness trainer and bodybuilder, and for many years was a competitive boxer
- he spent two years needing to rely on a wheelchair, when he first got multiple sclerosis 14 years ago
Mike's combination of empathy and experience will help you find ways to strengthen your body regardless of what mobility difficulties you may have.
He has designed exercise programs which work your whole body, but are done from a seated position. When you are seated, you can be comfortable and not have problems with balance or areas of weakness. But surprisingly enough, a good seated exercise program can deliver amazing results - your muscles are isolated when you are in a seated position, so it is easy to work on strengthening them.
